Service Delivery

Optimising government service delivery systems to ensure accessible, efficient, and transparent benefits to eligible citizens

India spends almost 25 lakh crores (~$300B) annually as a part of social sector spending  yet 15% of its total population is facing multi-dimensional poverty, reflecting deep gaps in the reach and effectiveness of government-to-citizen (G2C) services.

This gap is driven by both: citizen-level challenges including low awareness, complex application processes, documentation barriers and system-level challenges such as inefficient targeting, manual and slow verification, frauds and leakages and weak benefit tracking.

Our interventions in the sector work to tackle these issues.

Scheme Awareness
Enhancing last-mile delivery through AI-driven scheme recommendation, targeted IEC campaigns, and large-scale scheme enrolment camps across regions.
Beneficiary Identification
Improving outreach through a central database of potential beneficiaries and cross-scheme inclusion analytics to identify and engage eligible citizens.
Seamless Application Process
Enabling citizens to smoothly avail services via Unified Sheme Portal, Digilocker Integration, pre-filled applications and assisted delivery centres/resource persons.
Proactive Delivery Process
Improving efficiency of benefit delivery system through auto-enrolment, auto-verification and beneficiary screening, bundled scheme delivery and SOP streamlining.
Fraud Detection
Strengthening benefit disbursement monitoring through cross-scheme exclusion analytics, ground verification and AI or hypothesis-based fraud detection.
Budgetary and Policy Adjustments
Using disbursement analytics to identify gaps between eligibility and actual payouts, refine criteria and run post-disbursement audits.

By 2030, we envision every eligible individual/family receiving their welfare entitlements through easy, efficient & proactive delivery mechanisms -  reducing exposure to economic shocks, improving wellbeing, and enabling long-term upward mobility.
